Granite Crushing Production Line
1. Characteristics and Difficulties of Granite Crushing
High hardness: Mohs hardness 6~7, extremely high requirements for equipment wear resistance (such as jaw plate and liner need to be made of high manganese steel or alloy).
High silicon content: wears the tool and crushing chamber, and wear-resistant equipment needs to be selected.
Diverse demand for finished products: different specifications such as building aggregates (12-31.5mm) and machine-made sand (0-5mm) need to be taken into account.
2. Typical granite crushing production line configuration (taking 200-300 tons per hour as an example)
1. Process flow chart
Raw material warehouse → vibrating feeder → jaw crusher (coarse crushing) → cone crusher (medium crushing) → vibrating screen (pre-screening) → impact crusher/VSI sand making machine (fine crushing & shaping) → finished product screening → belt conveyor → finished product pile
2. Auxiliary equipment
Vibrating feeder: uniform feeding to prevent jaw crusher from blocking.
Dust removal system: pulse bag dust collector (air volume ≥ 20,000m³/h).
PLC control cabinet: automatic adjustment equipment interlock and alarm.
3. Key points for production line optimization
Reduce wear cost
The cone crusher adopts a stepped liner design to extend the service life by more than 30%.
The rotor of the VSI sand making machine is welded with a tungsten carbide wear-resistant layer (lifetime can reach 800-1200 hours).
Energy saving solution
The feeder and conveyor driven by variable frequency drive are selected to save energy by 15%-20%.
Single-stage hammer crusher is used to replace cone crusher in the medium and fine crushing stage (suitable for medium hardness granite).
Finished product quality control
Machine-made sand: By adjusting the speed and feed amount of the VSI crusher, the stone powder content (5%-10%) is controlled.
Aggregate: The cone crusher tight side discharge port (CSS) is set to 25mm to reduce needle-like particles.
4. Classic case configuration (500 tons per hour granite production line)
Raw materials: granite, compressive strength 180MPa, silicon content 65%.
Process:
- Coarse crushing: JC110 jaw crusher (discharge ≤200mm)
- Medium crushing: HPT500 multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher (discharge ≤35mm)
- Sand making: 2 VSI1145 in parallel (finished sand accounts for 40%)
Finished product indicators:
- 5-12mm aggregate: 35%
- 12-25mm aggregate: 25%
- Machine-made sand (0-5mm): 40% (MB value <1.4, medium sand in zone II)
